The clinical team at University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) presented insights from a pilot study done back in 2021 work, that compared the Tropsensor with blood based measurements in patients recruited from the Emergency Department, at the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS) conference

This work, now published in the journal of clinical and translational science, shows moderate correlation between RCE's sensor technology and blood based measurements. While further research and validation of the transdermal sensor is underway, the insights from this study provide an early look at the potential of a risk assessment and screening tool in the Emergency Department.
